The Islamic Foundation is committed to: Providing children with an Islamic environment where they can learn basic Islamic principles in a practical fashion. Helping children develop their dedication and duty to Allah and His creation. Encouraging children to excel in all aspects of life in order to maximize their potential. Training children in basic communication skills in English and Arabic languages, so that they may become future Daies of Islam. Providing children with a clear Islamic direction in all social and personal activities.
The Elementary Department at Islamic Foundation School, consisting of Kindergarten through fifth grade, represents “The Foundation”. The students are given basic and concrete knowledge to produce well-educated Muslims who are mindful of Allah and who seek knowledge as a lifelong obligation.
The Middle School Department consisting, of sixth through eighth grade, is not only committed to academic preparation, but also to the particular needs of early adolescence. The Middle School Program is committed to the students’ cognitive growth as well as their physical and mental health. Middle school prepares students for the High School Program.
The high school years, starting with grade 9, mark the start of “counting credits” to accumulate the required number to graduate. The high school years are used to train students to take responsibility for their actions and face consequences as responsible individuals. Responsibility training in the social, religious, academic, and spiritual realms is stressed in both the academic and the co-curricular programs at Islamic Foundation High School. Year 2001 marked a milestone, as the first senior class at Islamic Foundation School to graduate. To date, 51 students have graduated from Islamic Foundation School.
